Christmas Extravaganza

The Madrid Christmas Extravaganza will be on Monday, December 4, 2017. The Madrid Area Chamber of Commerce (MAC) sponsors this event, which will include a parade, chance to visit Santa, a craft show, and a Christmas tree silent auction. Dancers from Dance Driven will perform at Art House on State at 6:30 pm. The Madrid Historical Museum will be open and will host “Ghosts of Christmas Past,” and the SAM Center will provide a PEO Soup Supper  starting at 5:30 pm. Be sure to visit local businesses and sign up for a raffle for $100 of MAC money.

The Lighted Parade will begin at 6:00 pm in downtown Madrid. Line up for the parade in St. John’s Lutheran Church parking lot before 6. MAC will select a “Best of Show” award for the best float, and the winner will receive $100 in MAC money.

Avenue of Trees

Decorated trees and wreaths will be at the Madrid Public Library and will be sold via silent auction.

Stop by other local businesses for special events and sign up for the raffle drawing for MAC money. Five winners will be chosen.
