Iowa By Trail App for HTT is Available

Check out the Iowa By Trail app!

The app will help with all your needs relating to trails in Iowa, including the High Trestle Trail. For example, the mapping feature allows you to chose your course on a trail using the GPS function. You can use it to travel to the trail or to find the nearest trailhead when you are using the trail. The app also lets you track how far you have traveled.

The app also includes social media integration, an indicator that shows you the next point of interest along the trail, and a news section to keep you informed about the trails.

The Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation (INHF) worked with the West Des Moines company, Shift Interactive to develop the app. More features are still being added.
