Boone County Labor Employment Project

Where do Boone County employees reside? The Boone County Economic Growth Corporation is partnering with Iowa Workforce Development’s Regional Research Bureau to learn about the local labor force. Local businesses and residents may be contacted by a call from the 319 area code to participate in surveys about where they live, current and desired wages, current and desired benefits, education level and type of occupation. No personal information will be requested (name, social security number or date of birth).

Survey results will help inform local businesses of how to remain competitive in the labor market and also will help demonstrate what is needed to attract new industry to the area. Results will be available online at https://www.iowaworkforcedevelopment.gov/laborshed. Questions may be directed to Kurt Phillips with the Boone County Economic Growth Corporation at 515-432-3342.
