 Live bands often play on summer weekends at Flat Tire Lounge or the Cellar Winery. Bowling is available in town at Tiger Bowl, along with other breakfast, lunch and supper options around town. If you enjoy history, antiques, or dolls, be sure to stop by the Madrid Historical Museum while you are in town.

Our annual events are an excellent time to visit. The Labor Day Celebration includes a variety of family-friendly events (inflatables are often free), live music, fireworks and a parade. The Christmas Kickoff, held in early December, features a lighted parade and festivities offered by local businesses.

From the Iowa Arboretum to Ledges State Park and inter tube river adventures at Seven Oaks, fascinating and memorable experiences can be found near Madrid.
